Eurofarma announces the acquisition of Gautier Laboratories

Eurofarma, the Brazilian pharmaceutical company, has just announced the acquisition of a second Latin American company, the Gautier Laboratories. Present in the Uruguayan market for the past 93 years, Gautier has 57 products and works in the fields of Psychiatry, Neurology, Cardiology and General Practice. The acquisition is a further step on Eurofarma plans for globalization, started last year, after the acquisition of the Argentinean laboratory Quesada.

Gautier is the seventh major pharmaceutical company, also working in Paraguay and Bolivia. With the recent acquisitions, Eurofarma reaches 50% of its target in covering Latin American countries.
